Apologies for the Inconvenience
I am not a particularily imaginative person. Hence the title. However, I am a proud parent. Guess what my focus here will be?

wedding
Michael and Jessica Lepitski got married in Cudworth yesterday- one of the nicest weddings I've been to in a long time. Real was sick- he didn't even head out to work. Will wasn't feeling well either, but managed to have a good time in spite of his fatigue and lack of appetite.
Good Wunderlich representation there- Lyle and Joyce, Neil and Louise, and Dale, Kev, Mike and Jody all came out for it. Lyle and Dale took off to Loeffelholz's place after supper to catch some of the Oilers game and returned with good news- sounds like we missed a super one!
Barbara had a great night too- she was happy, relaxed, and proud of her son! They did a great job of putting on a beautiful wedding.
The kids were awesome- visited with everyone they knew, and some that they didn't! Elise was especially energetic, she made friends in the few first minutes and played and danced all night. We finally left at eleven, they both fell asleep quickly in the car and went to bed without issues. Sadly, however- they woke up at eight o' clock this morning.
birthday
Elise's sixth birthay was May 9- had party Sunday afternoon. Three hours of sugar- induced glee.
I hauled the party guests to Thornton Park for playground fun and a picnic of pop and chips, then back to the house for cake, ice cream, watermelon and presents. Elise got a ton of great stuff- Barbies, craft supplies, clothes and bubble blowing kits. We got her a "Pixel Chick" electronic game, and the first two Harry Potter movies on DVD. She was absolutely thrilled.
