teeth

Will had two more teeth extracted this week- uppers this time. We waited a long time to see if they'd pop out on their own, but no luck. At least they were fairly loose, the dentist didn't have to exert much force in order to get them out. All went very smoothly, considering that Elise was practically in Will's mouth the whole time trying to view the proceedings.

E. has no problems with her choppers- they fall out almost spontaneously. She's got another upper ready to go!

Kids have had lots of fun this week- they've been quite well-behaved and are getting along well considering how much time they've spent together. It helped that they started the Easter break with a visit from Auntie Lynora, Uncle Mike and Nolan. They just love that little guy! I am more impressed with them every time we get together, both have plenty of patience and sensitivity with their cousin.

camera repaired!

Finally got the Fuji back from Cheng's camera yesterday- they actually had to send it to Vancouver for service. But all is well, I took some shots of kids playing in backyard. Note the dashing attire- Elise chose a combination of dress and playclothes for both of them. What started out as a role-playing superhero game (E- "Will's my trusty sidekick!") morphed into an experiment with filling a cracked utility tub with water.

In other news- I won the Boredom Hotel hockey pool! (Regular season). The token female finally snags the glory.

Elise in the presence of presents

Will and Nolan

Still no digital camera, and difficult to type with son on lap. I hope he isn't finding his computer time diminished by my working around him.

More Xmas 05 photos found- kids at auntie Len's & uncle Mike's.

melty

It's laundry season!

Kids and dog have deposited much mud at the back entrance, but much joy is being had by all.

The camera is still not repaired, so I will post an old favourite... approx. Feb.2005

Will and Elise's first snowman with no adult help. The nose is a radish, as Elise kept eating the carrots her brother brought out!

So Here We Are

Weird how my favourite (!) brother-in-law phones as I'm setting up here and his first remark is "you should start a blog". My response- stunned silence. "Strangely enough," I began... and it went from there.

Starting slowly, as the kids need to get to bed. Photo from Christmas 2005- Will, Elise and
our dear Nolan at Auntie Lynora's and Uncle Mike's house in Edmonton.
