ClusterPost 1: Catching up- the summer of the frogs

Will, on a dock, pensively

Late August saw us at Candle Lake with Len, Mike and Nolan, as well as Mom and Dad (but no Real). The weather was horrid, save for two sunshiney hours spent at Waskateena Beach, close to the resort town. At least the water was warm for the kids.

The good part about the cool, rainy weather (Will and Elise's pov)- the wee froggies were plentiful. Our first foray out to hunt for them took only a 20 ft. walk from our cabin and a quick glance downward to see a large number of them. Captured three, two made it home. One of those escaped the aquarium, the last died. Which left us with the first wood frog, who was tracked down by Suka in Borden mid-July, known to us now as "Burp".
