ClusterPost 2: The boy is nine!

Although Will's enjoyment of the weekend was dampened somewhat by Suka's death, we managed to have nice little party for him at Lakewood on Sept. 16th. Nice for Real and me, finally having kids old enough to swim by themselves. We staked out a claim on the deck, got the cake, drinks and gifts ready, and just let the kids "have at'er".

Why does my son rarely look up when I'm photographing him?

Elise almost always does. She certainly knows when the camera is on her.

After we left the pool, we went home and hosted a family supper with Marcel, Georgina, Nicolle, Jeremy and Ava. Mom and Dad blasted through around 7:30 so Mom could get her birthday cake with Will. They had just blown back into town from their 70/75 birthday trip to Hawaii.
